Though Sherry Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Dickerson and Atteree Scott Dickerson; and her brothers, Sigle Dickerson and Earl Dickerson. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Windell; her niece Jo Gina Dickerson; her sister Earline Elliott; and her grandson Cody Lynn Windell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645).
