She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Benjamin and Ida Belle Follett Rider; and her husband Jerry Echols. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Easley (John), James Frost, Brian Frost (Myrna), Danny Echols (Donelle) and Christy Larkin; and her sisters, Patty Savona (Tommy) and Delores Murry. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
