It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie Joyce Sisk of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Andrew and Louella Threadgill Powell; her husband Duran Sisk; her great grandchild Robert I. L. Pyle; and her siblings, Andy Powell, Charlie Powell, Vera Powell, Maye Powell and Polly Morton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chris Fountain, Kimberly Fountain, Jacob Cannon, Katrina Loyd, Travis Loyd, Robert E. L. Pyle, Joseph Pyle and Samantha Pyle; and her siblings, Joe Powell, Edward "BoBo" Powell and Sue Powell. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
