He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bailey and Effie Barksdale Bailey; and his former wife Virginia Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Bailey; his children, Wesley Bailey (Vicky), Wayne Bailey (Shelia), Kent Bailey (Debbie), Melanie Brown (Kent) and Steven Bailey; his sister Pauline Shirley; and his grandchildren, Cory, Casey, John, David, Taylor, Aaron, Alan, Clayton, Stephanie, Rhonda, Tonya, Angela, Natalie and Jennifer. He is also survived by 34 great grandchildren.
