He is survived by: his son Shane Hawkins; his daughter-in-law Zuleyma Hawkins; his daughters, Lisa and Lou Ann Hawkins; his siblings, Beverly Poplin, Cheri Armstrong, Beth Wakefield and Charles Hill; his sister-in-law Lynn Hill; and his brother Keith Hill.
