With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roland Brent Lambert of Gilmer, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Clarence Lambert and Thelma Marie Box Lambert; his former wife Gay Nell Blackstone Lambert; his wife Floy Evelena Chamberlain Lambert; his daughter Rolanda Gay Lambert Littleton; and his brothers, Neil Lambert, Jerry Lambert, Dale Lambert and Eddie Lambert.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Joy Lambert (Jim) and James Brent Lambert (Melissa); his stepchildren, Felicia Hux Gipson (Gary) and Jeff Youngblood; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Fino, Sadie Lambert McGarvey, Connor Lambert and Caden Lambert; and his stepgrandchildren, David Egner, Lauren Egner, Lacey Adkins, Hunter Hux and Jaxon Jenkins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
