He is survived by: his spouse Flossie Helpenstill; his children, Beau Lee Helpenstill (Krystal) of Austin, Kelly Helpenstill (Kathy) of Searcy, AR., Kevin Helpenstill of Dallas, Stormy Tullar (Jeremy) of Gilmer, Wendy Edge of Harmony and Sue Story (Jeff) of McLeod; his siblings, James Helpenstill (Frances) of Gilmer, Vernon Helpenstill of Longview, Roy Helpenstill (Linda) of Gilmer, Troy Helpenstill of Mt. Pleasant and Alice Chipman of Gilmer; and his sister-in-law Jo Lovelady of Gilmer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
