He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Witt and Kate Witt; and his siblings, Jerry Witt, Marion Jo Smith and Joyce Wharton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Graves Witt; his sister Billie Marie Banks of Gainesville, Texas.; his children, Lanny Witt (Carol) of Tyler Texas, Denell Dennis (Kevin) of Garland, Texas and Jana Spencer (Kelly) of Gilmer, Texas.; his grandchildren, Haley Kirschner (Brenton) of Rogers, Arkansas, Robert Dennis (Logan) of Wylie Texas, Heather Wade (Devon) of Birmingham, Alabama, Jenny Guerra (Gabe) of Austin, Texas and Alli Pearson (Mark) of Albuquerque; and his great grandchildren, Henderson, Miller, Afton of Garland, Texas, Ezra of Rogers, Arkansas and Will of Austin, Texas..
