She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matthew Steelman and Grace Lantrip Steelman; her husband Charles Lee Swanner of Swanner's Burgers; and her siblings, Huel Dean Steelman, Billy Gene Steelman and Betty Lynn Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Swanner (Tammy) and Kristi Anderson (Lonnie); her grandchildren, Mathew Derrick (Nicki), Lacey McKenzie, Miranda Grace Williamson (Logan), Vanessa Abigail Watkins (Dustyn), Laurie Gunnels (Bobby) and Stephanie Dowd (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Caeden, Miles, Carley, Gage, Noah, Lexi, Aspen, Lee, Remi Jo, Beretta, Tuff, Wyatt, Jintri Grace, Mayzie Glynn and Malee; and her niece Janice Dugger.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1582 US Hwy 271 S, Gilmer, TX 75644).
