He is survived by: his children, Joe Pool (Ava) and Susan Ross; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Pool (Andrea), Michael Pool (Kirby) and Kristin Pool; his great grandchildren, Eli Pool, Henry Pool, Ethan Pool, Elyssa Pool, Lillian Pool and Elly Grace Pool; his wife Mary Louise Harris Pool; his siblings, Lessie Pool, Thelma Pool, Ruth Pool, Eunie Finney, Amy Bivins, Rachel Smith, Audie Smith, Sidney Pool, George Pool and Paul Pool; and his close friend JoAnn Massey.
