In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Minnie Codell leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Minnie Codell may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelma Price and Walter Price; her husband Billy Harold Bass, Sr.; and her sons, David Clifton Bass, Sr. and John Anthony Bass.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Harold Bass, Jr. (Barbara), Zelma "Sissy" Bass (Larry Pittman) and Mary Ledbetter (Randall). She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as her extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Perryville United Methodist Church (9335 FM852, Winnsboro, TX 75494).
