He was predeceased by: his father William Spencer; his brothers, Bill and Gene Spencer; and his nephew William C. "Buck" Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Shawna Lee Spencer of Gilmer; his children, Darren Spencer (Mindy) of Utah and Michelle Spencer Loftice (Jim) of Gilmer; his grandchildren, Katherine Laney (Damon), Rachel Riehemann (Justin), Dakota Spencer, McKaylan Corréa (Marcelo), Shaelynn Connell (Riley) and Savanah Loftice; and his great grandchildren, Zane, Sophia, Natalie Laney, Lexi Correa and Ellie Riehemann.
