It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlene Wilson (Gilmer, Texas), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ely Cooper and Auvie L. Fielden Cooper; her husband Edwin Wayne Wilson; and her son Kenneth Wayne Wilson. She is survived by: her sons, James Donald Wilson (Paula) and Carl Lewis Wilson. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
