She was predeceased by: her mother Patty Marlene Smith of Huntington; her stepfather Virgil Clarence Riley of Huntington; her husband Rodney Dale Ellis of Gilmer, Texas; her sister Valerie Lynn Scarberry of Huntington; her stepsiblings, Kimberly Robin Riley, Colleen Riley and Leslie Riley of Clarksburg; and her son Neil Justin Metzgar of Huntington.
She is survived by: her father James Kenny Metzgar (Tuana); her daughter Katlynn Elise Ellis; her siblings, Delores Pyle, Ida Montgomery (Buddy), Josephine Fultineer (Rob) and Mark Metzgar; and her grandchildren, Lily Blixt, Kathryn Marie Paige Metzgar, Kaylea McKenzie Metzgar and Caleb Justin Chase Metzgar. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
