She was predeceased by: her parents, Odie Liary and Beaulah Hoffman Johnson; and her siblings, Katie Davidson, Opal Overstreet and Billy Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Butch Alexander; her children, Tina Leatherwood and Monty Gage; her brother Robert Johnson; her grandchildren, Monaka Flowers Rash, Tatem Flowers, Brittany Leatherwood Hancock, Charles Leatherwood and Dalton Gage; and her great grandchildren, Kimmie, Krista, Bethani, Jaxson, Misha, Malachi, Micah, Mollie and Maxamus.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
