It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Ontiveros of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Frank Boylan and Catherine Vivian Boylan (Campbell); and her brother Robert Boylan. She is survived by: her spouse Reyes Ontiveros; her children, Catherine Ontiveros, Marta McVicker (Tod) and Joaquin Reyes Ontiveros (Kris); her grandchildren, Zachary Currey, Joshua Currey, Carly Jayroe, Dana McVicker, Krystle Seitz and Lexi Ontiveros; her great grandchildren, Hudson Currey, Clara Jayroe, Kristin McGettrick, Riggen Seitz and Wyatt Seitz; and her sister Elizabeth Fanning (Betty).
