It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Ann Duffey of Gilmer, Texas, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Wilbur Thompson and Dorothy May Whitehead Thompson; and her children, Frankie Markowitz and Tina Covert. She is survived by: her husband Bill Duffey; her daughters, Debbie Major and Laura Allison (Sam); her daughter-in-law Donna Markowitz; her sister Linda Conant (Dale); and her close friend Beverly Holloway.
