Edge of Gilmer, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Showers and Martha L. Robertson Showers. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Edge; her brother Lee Showers; her sons, Gil Edge (Amy), Andy Edge (Lisa) and Darryl Edge (Kristen); her grandchildren, Trey Edge, Lauren Crutchfield, Justin Ihnfeldt, Dylan Cook, Chelsea Cook, Miranda Cook, Nolan Edge, Caroline Ginn, Will Samuel, Katie Stanfield, Kayla Edge, Madison Edge, Noah Edge, Belle Murphy, Noel Edge and Gracey Murphy; her great great grandchildren, Emily Casebier, Willow Neill, Luka Arellano, Gray Cook, Kinsley Beasley, Wyatt Stanfield and Sidney Samuel; and her extended family, Nicki Curtis, Shelley Sonza, Katsi Beathard and Michael Hashem.
