With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Sue Murray of Gilmer, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvis Milton "Mutt" Stegall and Ethel Velma Stegall (Beene); and her siblings, Jackie Ray Stegall, Patsy Ann Oney and Larry Gene Stegall.
She is survived by: her former husband David Harold Langford; her children, Kim Green (Bill) and Kristy Pierce (Thomas); her grandchildren, Ashley Zucosky (Jeff), Mallory Jackson (Fred), Jordan Hardy (Parker) and Madison Pierce (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Ava, Harper, John Parker, Holt, Livi, Hayes and Porter; her husband Curtis Ray Murray; her stepchildren, Tony Murray (Melissa), Steve Murray, Kim Murray, Toyia Urbaniak (Cowboy), Theresa Wilcox (Lloyd) and Lenny Digilormo; and her sister Dora Ione "Tillie" Davis.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Shady Grove Cemetery (10331 FM1795, Big Sandy, TX 75755).
