It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Rice of Gilmer, Texas, born in Yoakum, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Jacob Poth and Ida Mae Kelley Poth; and her brother James Leslie Poth. She is survived by: her spouse Jesse Howard Rice; her children, Rex Rice (Paula) of Gilmer and Terry Scarborough (Ben) of Yantis; her grandchildren, Amy Luna, Aaron Rice (Priscilla), Ashley Belew (Danny), Jermy Thomas (Melissa), Audrey Herring (Jordan), Annie Rice, Abby Richards (Joseph), Megan Becker, Daniel Proffer (Camille), Rebekah Proffer, Benjamin Proffer, Andrew Proffer, Sara Hayward (Land) and Wayne Pence; and her great grandchildren, Justice, Jacob Craven, Emma, Grayson Belew, Bryce, Brayden, Braxton Thomas, George, Caroline Richards, Lizzie Becker and Aurora Hayward.
