She was predeceased by: her parents, James Calvin and Nettie Mae Simmons McLaughlin; her brothers, William Calvin and John Wayne McLaughlin; her husband Don Dickson; her daughter Stormi Dawn Dickson; her grandsons, Justin Bell, Nick Pearson and Josh Pearson; her niece Christy Smith; and her son-in-law Eric Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Parsons (John Mark Parsons) and James Funderburk; her granddaughter Stormi Jewel Funderburk; and her daughters, Missi Rickey, Traci Lehmberg (Gary Lehmberg), Candace Williams (Tom Williams) and Tamela Turk (Mike Turk). She is also survived by grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Saving Grace Church (2117 Chinaberry Rd, Gilmer, TX 75645).
