He is survived by: his parents, Joe Edward and Janet Warnell Powell; his sisters, Karen Collins (Tony) of Gilmer and Patricia Concha of Houston; and his nieces and nephews, Elicia (Andrew) of Houston, Camillia (Randy) of Houston, Michael Paul (Honey), Samuel (Wendy), Jonathan and Brandon (Haylee) of Gilmer. He is also survived by four nephews as well as seven great nieces and eight great nephews.
