He is survived by: his wife Dora Vickers; his children, Carol Coon, Mary Whitehead, Linda Eaton, Eddie Springer, Donald Springer, Jessie Bond, Jean Hayes, John Springer, Jimmy Springer, Joseph Springer and Jeri Cisneros; and his sister Juanita Wright.
