He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Mack and Marna Winfred Knox (Hall); his wife Mary Jo Knox; and his sister Laurel Ruth Knox Davis. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Pilcher (Cary) of Gilmer, Tracy Knox (Carisa) of San Antonio and Ashley Knox (Janice) of McKinney; his grandchildren, Trevor, Nathan, Ty, Coy Pilcher, Frannie, Emily Knox and Charlotte Knox; and his siblings, Phil Knox of Georgia and Marna Knox Allen (Johnny) of Champion. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
