He was predeceased by: his fathers, Odis Franklin Murphy and Alline Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Murphy; his sons, Chad Franklin Murphy (Bonnie) and Danny Ray Murphy (Heidi); his siblings, Patricia Ferguson and Grayline Murphy (Rosa); and his brother-in-law Scott Ray. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
