He was predeceased by: his father Grover Scott; and his wife Patsy Sue Joyner Scott. He is survived by: his children, Michael Scott of Quitman, Donnie Scott (Kristen) of Coppell and Kimberly Hill (Samuel) of Gilmer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
