She was predeceased by: her parents, Odie B. Mayfield and Nellie Hughleen Holeman Stracener; her stepmother Rebecca Mayfield; her husband Mike Sanders; her son Chad Sanders; her aunt Margaret Johnston; and her uncles, Bobby Holeman and Lynn Holeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Bryan (Jared); her siblings, Carol Brian, Donna Mayfield, Becky Pharr, Amy Mayfield and Marty Mayfield; and her grandchildren, Alexus Lee, Adrick Lee, Anastacia Lee, Amaya Venters, Cotton Sanders and Patience Sanders. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
