She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Blasingame and Carrie Johnson Blasingame; her husband Grady Holmes; and her brother Wendell Blasingame. She is survived by: her children, Paula Mathis (John) of Gilmer, Rebecca Ferrell (Bill) of Tyler and David Holmes (Melissa) of Gilmer; and her grandchildren, Chris Mathis (Robin) of Atlanta, Georgia, Carrie Cothrum (Dallas) of Dallas, Nancy Douthey of Houston, Amy Askew (J. B.) of Dallas, Shannon Crawford (Randy) of Cypress, Cynthia Weast (Brian) of Rockwall and Jeffery Holmes of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 virus threat, a private family graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Gilmer, Texas.
