She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Perkins and Eunice Perkins; and her son Charles Edwin Long. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles R. Long; her daughter-in-law Darcie Long; and her grandsons, C. J. Long, Joseph Long and Garret Long.
