It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Earle Snow Thompson (Gilmer, Texas), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edna Earle Snow may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna Earle Snow touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Snow and Inez Snow; her husband Joseph Wayne Thompson; her stepmother Cleo Roberts Snow; and her siblings, Charles Snow and Hilma Snow Ferguson.
She is survived by: her brother Joe Dell Snow (Patti); and her children, Kathryn Case (Ward), Carolyn Hayes (Mark), Nancy Drennan, Lori Thompson and Joseph Thompson Jr. (Liz). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
