It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Faye Stanley (Gilmer, Texas), born in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Simmons and Delia Lou Simmons; her children, Robert Joe Stanley and Rebecca Kay Ellison; and her siblings, Alford Simmons, Johnny Simmons, Flora Lynch, Wanda Frasher and Cassie Gage.
She is survived by: her husband Alton Jackson Stanley; her sons, Willie Steve Stanley (Tammy) and Eddie Lynn Stanley; and her siblings, Jimmy Simmons, Joe Simmons, Gary Simmons, Katie Stanley, Ann Carter and Jean Clark. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
