He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Meador and Yevon Meador; and his brother Leroy Meador. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Meador; his children, Amanda Peterson (Troy), Charles Meador (Amber), Michael Meador (Caitlin), Lauren Hodges-Jones, Leslie Hodges and Lacy Junkin (Derek); his siblings, John Meador (Jean), Twila Kelcourse (Dan) and Louise Boland (Andy); his sister-in-law Pam Meador; and his grandchildren, Amie Peterson, Maren Peterson, Emma Peterson, Grace Peterson, Blake Peterson, Braylon Meador, Nathan Myrick, Eathan Myrick, Calvin Meador, Henry Meador, Hunter Eitel, Cooper Young, Brently Jones, Owen Jones, Camryn Tuttle, Demi Junkin and Dani Junkin.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
