She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Sam and Shirley Sue Herring Pierce; and her sisters, Katherine Pierce and Elizabeth McCarver. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Dean Koontz; her daughters, Rebekah Taylor (Tony), Melissa Ann Koontz (Chris Fox) and Constance Koontz (Adam Higginbotham); her aunt Meryl Fay Thompkins; her grandchildren, Aaron Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Sarah Rawls, Steven Holeman, Lonnie Holeman, Ryan Ward, Connor Ward and Karley Ward; and her great grandchildren, Bentley Taylor and Ezra Taylor.
