He is survived by: his wife Sandretta Wendt; his sons, John Wendt (Carolyn) and Eric Wendt (Wendy); his brother Dale Wendt; his grandchildren, Cassy Fernandes (Tyler), Rachel Ebert (Daniel), Justin Wendt and Andrew Wendt; and his great grandchildren, Elinor Ebert and Liam Fernandes.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Redemption Worship Center (1088 US Hwy 271 N, Gilmer, TX 75644).
