He is survived by: his siblings, Sue and Canady; his wife Ella Ruth; his siblings, Selena Mae Stallings, Arnelia Gordon (Neal), Lethaniel Johnson (Bub), Jerelene Lee (Sue), Mae Etta Shepherd and Johnny Mack Johnson (Fickie); his children, Bennie Newby, Fred Webb, Dr. Maggie Johnson Glover (Mark) and Milan Johnson (Yelando); his grandchildren, Dr. Kashaelyn Henderson (Tyrone), Tiffany Newby, Marquila Johnson (Keith), Tony Richard II (Precilla), LaShele Richard (Dewayne), Milan Johnson Jr., Clifford Newby Jr. (Nicole), Chance Johnson, Jereme Webb, Jade Johnson, Jarrett Webb, Jasmine Wilcoxson and Jonathan Wilcoxson; his great grandchildren, Jazmine Thompson, Malaysia Johnson, Maeghan Johnson, Lundyn Henderson, Tyler Henderson, Nicholas Newby, Mason Johnson, Alana Johnson and Leon Newby; and his great great grandchild Autumn Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (444 W Ledbetter Dr, Dallas, TX 75224).
