It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray Thompson of Gilmer, Texas, born in Big Sandy, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Thompson (Harper) and T. A. Thompson; his wife Billie Ann Thompson; and his brothers, Randall Thompson and Donald Thompson.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Lauren Thompson) of Longview and Wesley (Jennifer Thompson) of Gilmer; his siblings, Beverly Bouknight, Margie Buchanan and Dale Thompson; and his grandchildren, Zac, Sydnie, Chance, Matthew, Elisabeth, Audrey, Samantha and Tiffany Thompson.
