He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Rachael Mauk. He is survived by: his children, Dicky Mauk (Bobbie) of Gilmer and Cindy Calavan (Steve) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and his grandchildren, Brian Mauk, Dustin Mauk, Hollie Elliott, Spencer Calavan, David Calavan and Aaron Mauk. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
