It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clovis Virmell Dean of Gilmer, Texas, born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie Virmell Swinney and Cleo Swinney; her husband Calvin R. Dean; her children, Lonnie Joe Dean, Judy Dean Bloyed and Patsy Dean Lewis (Jerry Lewis); her son-in-law Carl Clark; and her siblings, Walter, Clarence, Alvia and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Wayne (Susan Dean) and Jerry Edward (Vickie Dean); her granddaughter Kathy Clark; and her sister Virginia Raspberry. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
