It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Painter of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Painter and Lois Keahey Painter; his sister Carol Painter; his nephew Ronnie Dauer; and his son-in-law Mel Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Painter; his children, Pamela Ivey (Rob), Suzanne Alford (Danny), Sherri Painter, Dianne Whiteley (Tim) and Bobby Painter (Michelle); his grandchildren, Mary (Jason), Emily, Jessica, Tyler, Joel (Lydia), Rachel (Jesse), Zachary (Angela), Ben (Jane), Seth (Madison), Will (Katy), Avery (Alexis), Joshua, Jacob, Caleb and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Everly, Owen, Henry and Hayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
