She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Phillips and Arial Aimes Phillips; her husband Billy Motes; her siblings, Don, Jim Phillips and Beverly Hunt; and her grandson David Hamm.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hinz of Denver, CO., Walter Hinz (Ann) of Waxahachie, Rocky Rhoads of Gilmer, Deborah McCoy (J. D.) of Benton, LA., Brenda Davis of Gilmer and Amanda Rhoads of Gilmer; her siblings, Sonny Phillips of Missiouri, Maryann Flemming, Nancy Reder and Susie Bohert of St; and her uncle Duane. She is also survived by several cousins, twelve grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
