She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Clayton Patterson and Lyda Oletha Owens Patterson; her sister Jo Nell Hammer; her sister-in-law Charlene Patterson; and her aunt Helen Patterson.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Brown; her children, Rick Brown (Margie), Lori Metcalf (Ricky) and Tim Brown (Denise); her siblings, Becky Thurston (Robert) and Billy Jack Patterson; her grandchildren, Juliana Wootten (Jordan), Emily Ricks (Donavan), Blake Brown, Audrey Brown and Dalton Brown (Katlin); and her great grandchildren, John-Mark Wootten, Preston Wootten, Graham Wootten, Madelyn Ricks, Daelyn Ricks, Zoey Ricks, Katherine Brown and Eliza Brown.
