It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andres G. Lopez Jr. (Gilmer, Texas), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Lopez and Luz "Lucia" Lopez; his sons, Isidro Lopez and Moises Lopez; his former wife Noemi Perez; and his sister Noemi.
He is survived by: his significant other South of Texas; his children, Erasmo Lopez (Cissy), Genaro "Jerry" Lopez and Raquel Ross (Rodney); his niece Melva Molina; and his stepchildren, Alberto Ayala (Orga), Aurora "Lola" Nelms (Roger Silver), Laura Watson (Randy McClain), Gina Lopez (Raymond) and Guadalupe "Pete" Suarez. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
