It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Lee Wells (Gilmer, Texas), born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Wells and Fannie Wells (Durbin); his former wife Willie Faye Wells; his son Albert Wells, Jr.; and his brother E. O. Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Wells; and his children, Sharry K. Rathburn (Lloyd) of San Marcos, Loyd Wells (Judy) of Pasadena, Ben Wells (Linda) of New Braunfels, Ernie Wells (Barbara) of Houston, Susan Wells of Bay City, Aileen Fuller (Tony) of Arlington, Paul Adams (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant and Diana Alden of Gilmer. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
