He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earlton and Angelena Roberson; his wife Nora; his brother Ernest Earlton; and his half-sister Corine Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Koon and Clifford James Koon; and his stepdaughter Nelli Kuether. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
