He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred H. Kopplin, Sr. and Delaphine L. Kopplin (Weber); his siblings, Alfred "Butch" Kopplin, Jr. and Dora Wolfe; and his grandson Heath Lane Kopplin-Gisler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Musick (Cody) of Beeville and Brittany Simmons (Dalton) of Seguin; his close friend Bebo; his granddaughters, Gavina Musick and Kimora Dupree; his siblings, Leslie "Buddy" Kopplin of George West, David Wolfe of Cotulla, Lou Schulenberg (Frank) of Beeville, Dellene Blackmore (Craig) of New Braunfels and Patricia Kopplin of Beeville; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Trlica (Emilee), Amy Bishop (Earl), Clint Wolfe (Jana), Carrie DeArmond (Drew) and Layton "Chase" Kopplin. He is also survived by many cousins and great-nephews and nieces.
