It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Whitehead of Gillett, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Viola May Whitehead (Parker); his wife Iona Whitehead (Hartman); and his siblings, Edna Mae Whitehead, James Whitehead, Otis Whitehead, Barney Whitehead and Chester Whitehead.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Wade Real (Mary) and Monty Real; and his siblings, Frances Krause, Anna Rose Kolb (Doug), Pauline Koecker and Roy Whitehead (Kathy). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
