He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Yancey and Nora Yancey; his son Terry Yancey; and his brothers, Arthey Gene Yancey, William Cluster Yancey, James Franklin Yancey and David Lee Yancey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Yancey of California; his children, Traci Francois (Robert) of San Antonio, Terri Yancey of California, Tanya Yancey of California, Nora Yancey of Lexington and Tony Yancey of Virginia; and his sisters, Blunta Sims (Isaac) of California, Vonella Scott (Phillip) of Tennessee and Garnette Yancey of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
