With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Matt Remsing of Giddings, Texas, born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter A. Remsing and Gloria Remsing (Santora); his siblings, Caro Kapelos, Ronnie (Kandi Remsing) and Ralph Remsing; his sister-in-law Lynne Remsing; and his nephews, Eric Trusty and Ryan Remsing.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Remsing; his stepchildren, Nicole McCoy (Vince) of Giddings and Michael Corcoran (Stacy) of Helotes; his grandchildren, Kasey Corcoran (Krysta) of Thorndale, Tyler McCoy (Kember) of Giddings, Tanner Corcoran of Helotes and Riley Nicole Corcoran of Helotes; his great grandchild Harley Kay Corcoran of Thorndale; his siblings, Gabriella Trusty (Jim) and Rick Remsing; and his sister-in-law Rose Remsing. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, First United Methodist Church of Giddings, or a charity of one's choice.
