It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Orren Simon of Giddings, Texas, born in Grangeville, Idaho, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Simon and Thelma Simon (Bentley); his son Toby Simon; and his brothers, Lloyd, Dean, Glen and Ralph Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simon of Giddings; his children, Lisa Soares (Ron) of Hanford, CA, Tully "Buzzy" Simon of Hanford, CA, John Holder (Kerry) of Pocahontas, AR and Michelle Harville (Leonard) of Giddings; his grandchildren, Harrison of Giddings, Carson of Giddings, Emmerson Harville of Giddings, Amanda Edmondson of Lemoore, CA, A. J. of Hanford, CA, Alyssa Soares of Hanford, CA, Andrea West of Lebanon, IN, Keri Huffman of Paragould, AR, Brendan Simon of California and Emily Willhoite of Pocahontas, AR; and his brother Gale Simon (Irma) of Clarksville, TN.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
