He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Virginia Kunkel and James "Jimmy" Cutlip. He is survived by: his parents, Milton Alvin Kunkel and Annie Mae Kunkel (Kappler); his siblings-in-law, Mary, Calvin Iselt of Houston, Susan and Rene Trevino of Alvin; and his brother Calvin Kunkel of Loebau. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews; fifteen great nieces and great nephews, several cousins, and many friends.
